Why iphone 6 will be biggest success ever!

well, take me for an instance, few weeks back, jumped with joy for a oneplus mobile (truly, still best for the price), routing – not just routing, waiting like a scool boy for the annual vacation for iphone 6.

If you think am tech crazed, you have taken me wrong. I would like to be balanced between my usage and the technology what can offer.

While iOS restricted me in my ipad, I liked the freedom of Android on couple of devices including a mammoth tab (note pro). Cyanogen opened my eyes wide to a grand universe (if little bit of exaggerating allowed). Still, am here, smiling and cheering for iphone 6.

Has iphone 6 or iphone 6 plus got any better features from the predecessors or match some of the best in class android phones? No, not at all. Still its a far cry. When everyone was onboarding and cheering for iphone 4,4s,5 and 5s, I laughed at them with my Galaxy note series in hand. Wait – let me agree, my laughter has gone now. Long back infact.

While I agree the non-apple phones are getting better these days, what I have realized in the past is – Apple ‘is’ the ‘crowd’. It caters to huge audience, while the rest(Android) shine in groups.

Okay, one reason why I like it now – is big screen, I can expect to see beautiful colors in that ~401 PPI resolution. 5.5 inch screen is so good to hold, talk, browse, write urgent emails and for my daily social needs of facebook, twitter, instagram. The screen size was the last and only thing was held me away – now they got me.

Why not other 5.5 inch screens? Even my current “oneplus” phone has 5.5 inch with ~401 PPI resolution. Well, now go back my previous paragraphs. iPhone is for the mass. When nexus introduced NFC in 2012 its merely a news but when apple onboards, its a recognized technology. When it offers cardless payment, and less stuff to fill on the internet pages, am I not happy? Am more than happy, I cursed every responsible things when I see a transaction failed for a silly error. Why wont I be happy now. Finger print reader will be happy to add more security and when apple says we are in, retailers go in queue right behind it.

Someone commented in FB for the hate-comments of nexus users, “Just because you do have eyes and ears, you cant reckon you are equal to brad pitt”. I havent read a better sarcastic (non-hurtful) comment in ages.

While android works in parts( I can hear big ‘no’), apple shows unity. Very few types, just 2 new models and obviously apps will be catering just for their right needs.

Okay, you can ask, “apple got you, but why reckon its going to be the biggest hit?”.

Answer is simple, When the first apple iphone got introduced people loved it because it changed the way we saw mobile phones. Later few realized the need of phablet but apple was so reluctant. Samsung too not much confidence, released ‘note’. It was surprised to see it won the nerds/techies support.

Apple didnt board as it wasn’t still convinced. So there was a gap building and the loyal apple users stayed with small screens and the tech, data hungry went on to explore bigger screens. Thankfully, market vendors gave all possible sizes with unique features. Sony with good camera features and build quality, Samsung with better specifications etc. Now apple being back to the driver seat – even for the phablet screens, where do you think those wandering data-hungy people(including me) gonnna come back. Right to the iphone 6 plus.

If you have observed closely, apple iphone 6 is bit inferior than the iphone 6 plus on 1) Display, 2) Battery life, 3) Camera (Optical Image Stabilizer). Isnt Apple want you to buy iphone 6 plus? For those who would whine on the price, can settle for a slightly cheaper still with a iphone-6 name tag.

Holy, I havent talked about the apple watch yet!.. Forget it, I have convinced you already!. 😉
