Beitou hot springs
On the last day I had my flight in the late afternoon. I took a bet and wanted to visit the Beitou hot springs. Luckily it worked. I took the red line and got down at Beitou station. From there, another tram like train takes us to Xin Beitou. It was a leisure walk of 30 mins to return. It doesnt offer much, actually. But there a quite a number of lodges offer to enjoy to soak on the hot spring’s stream. I didnt like the sulphur (rotten egg) smell – so avoided the idea to take a dip. But its a nice walk and to those who would love the hot springs, its one of the fun place. Houses are quite old and their style tell lots of stories. 🙂

Ketagalan Culture Center.
Right at the start of the walk to this hot springs, there is a culture center. Its a good 10 min time pass to learn the culture and its worth. check it out.
Finally took the speed rail to the station that was near to airport and then a shuttle to the airport. Despite the costly ticket, the experience was awesome. Train sped more than 250 Kms per hour.
