WAT PHO (Wat Phrachetuphon Wimonmangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan)
Opening Hours: Daily from 8am – 6pm
Admission Fee: 100 baht for foreigners
This is a huge complex and quite a bit of a walk from Palace. If one has plans to cover Wat Arun, the ideal way to do this is Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.
Wat Pho temple is beautiful and has enough things to explore for a couple of hours. Temple has a small market; some 20 shops that sell freshly made snacks.
Reclining Buddha is huge and beautiful. We just wished there were no columns to hide the view. Thai’s rich culture can be felt everywhere. Our rainy day made the place to look even more beautiful.
