This is one of the woww attraction in Tokyo. Though there are many options are getting such nice views, Tokyo SkyTree is best. Opening hours are from 8 in the morning to 10pm with the last admission of 9pm.

Its magnificent by all means. Un-apologetically stands so tall, so proud. Tokyo Solamachi mall is our entrance and at the 4th floor, ticket counter invited us. A very well planned and organised, well informed queue starts to the counter. As a rule, they expect all the guests to join the queue to buy tickets. There are 2 observation decks, one to floor 350 and the Other to 445 (top deck). A live TV near the counter was showing the actual view and we decided to get the ticket only till 350 as the cloudy outside view was dull enough for the lower deck itself.

From the level 350, one can take another small lifts that serve from levels 340 to 350 which has varieties of cafes, attractions and shops including a free access glass floor area gives direct view of the road all the way down. View of all 360 degrees is so beautiful and soothing to the eyes with its patterns, designs of the buildings below. A quiet and scenic Sumida river cut through them like art and occasional slow ferries (from the top it does look super slow) will hold you glued to their routes for a while.

After that, we took a long train back to Gotanda. Picked our dinner from Sitara restaurant at the Shinagawa station (note, if you are not travelling, one has to buy ticket to get into this mall, which is more of a transit area for the train stations. As I had to travel to Gotanda I just used my Pasmo ticket to gain entry here and packed our dinner. Unlike India or Singapore, food what you get here is hardly 1/3rd, just enough for one person. I love the sticky Japanese rice. Its soft, rich and filling.
