One of the odd and unique find of the trip (during preparation) was this TeamLab Borderless. Somehow I bumped into this in one of my searches and it looked fascinating. I came to know that this would be open daily for limited number of tickets and based on the history, weekend tickets get sold well before. Each adult ticket costs 3200 Yen and 1000 for the little ones until the age 14 from 4. I heard the long queues. After again with that infamous Italian breakfast, we were on our way to Tokyo Teleport station which involved some changeovers. One note though, google maps work just fine and even suggests the platform details and which section has less crowd. Initially thought I need to rely on Hyperdia, but google maps did more than enough for me during my entire trip. I bought the Mobal pre-paid sim card before the trip and collected here in Singapore itself. That was super helpful perfect and tailored for my trip.

TeamLab Borderless is on the 2nd floor of Palette Town next to the entrance to the giant ferris wheel . Finding it is slightly challenging, good bet is to follow the crowd and there are many signboards are there to see if its less crowded. When we went there entrance was just crowded and had 2 queues separated for reserved and non-reserved. I was relieved that the crowd is okay, just then they told, the queue starts from the first floor next to car park and that looked pretty long with 100s of them in the long queue. We waited for a while and then, had to lock the stroller, umbrella and shove our bags into a locker and that itself took a while because figuring them out for the first time does ask for scratching chin/head time.

However, when we entered, I felt the wait was worth it. Its not a static museum or something. Its full of projectors and screens (150+) and always changing. Its intentionally kept unmarked so that visiting the same place again would tell a different story. The bad part, it was crowded again inside and there were few top attractions and they had even longer queues. I decided to cover few and skipped those specials where queue was longer enough to fail me to find the tail end to join. We covered Universe of Water particles on a rock where people gather, Memory of topography, Animals of flowers born in the flower forest Symbolic Lives, Forests of flowers and people: Lost immersed and reborn, The way of Sea in the memory of Topography, Peace can be realized even without order, Flutter of butterflies Grafitti nature, The most interesting Forest of lamps. It was overwhelming and full of surprises. Our only suggestion would be to go to this place on weekdays.
