I forgot the whole story whats it about, when the Netflix announced that your season 2 is here. Scratching head, I recollected that the first season was good but had zero clue about the story. That’s what happens if you binge watch a series and the way you watch, it leaves your brain too, leaving only bits and pieces. Watching a recap of season 1 didn’t help but better than the initial ‘scratching head’.

So it started. With the pure assistance of subtitles (My Hindi proficiency, cant even be used to get meals from restaurants). Vikram Chandra’s book with the same name must be a master piece. I didn’t read, so cant comment on the adoption but can assume or convince you that they did great job. At least 4 of them were listed as directors and either they outperformed each other or pumped in all their efforts in making it real legendary. Saif Ali Khan is subtle but strongest, Nawazuddin Siddique looks weak but most daring and carries the entire series on his shoulder with ease. Transformation from youth to the old was seamless and fitted every phase so naturally. Just wished Radhika Apte was retained in the season 2 also but the story took its real phase in season 2 and gave no space for many.

The dimension from the season 1 was transitioned to season 2 into spiritual. I didnt take that red looking drink or the red-pill from the TV series but many of the episodes did give some real effects. Be prepared – if you are hitting bed right after one of those episodes, the dream is going to make you walk some uncomfortably vivid, hard hitting dream sequences. Well, if the TV series is good and those dreams are the perk, enjoy them anyways.

Story is flawless, characters did understand their roles, music is melancholic and spiritual. Loved it.
