Am extending my writing towards non-travel related stuffs too. Just whatever caught my attention even its for a brief, here it is.
Watched Marina movie last night (ofcourse this was released in Feb 2012) and wished I should write something about the daring efforts to get the real Marina and their lifestyle to our eyes. This is about the people live in Marina beach (Chennai). Pandiraj the short but stands out of the “masala” crowd already proved his worth from his previous venture “Pasanga” a movie about schoolgoers.
This movie starts like a documentary in a very pleasant way and before the question “how its gonna have story” pops out, characters weave a nice story to listen. Though Sivakarthikeyan claimed as debut hero, actually Pakoda Pandian the kid is. Still Sivakarthikeyan fills the screen nice with his scenes and our hearts. Am sure, he is gonna go to places, no doubt.
Oviya as her name sounds, is beautiful and fits the bill exactly. Music – fails to leave notable feelings. It could have been better.
What best is, Pandiraj’s efforts to collate all possible information and gets in to a story that has all feelings a movie could have. It leaves no loopholes and gentle for a family to watch together. Wish he doesnt join the crowd and makes quality movies in the same way.
